This week Lily and I have been running or first ever class workshop. In room 21 we have these things named workshops. It is where you find a pair to do it with, then you and your partner gather together to figure out what to have a workshop about. Once you have found what you would like to do a workshop about, you email Mrs August your idea. This is the exciting part, once she has given the thumbs up then you may start to plan about who, what, when, and how.
Lily and I went through that whole process. After we finished planning we found a pizza recipe and copied it. The first recipe didn't work so we got Lily's dad's pizza recipe. YAY!! It finally worked. The pizza dough finally lifted out of the bowl.
The room 21 people that were in our workshop did really well in making the pizza dough, and so far Alex Murray has the biggest pizza dough so far.

weekly post
This week a few people in my class including me have started planning and writing some of the best stories in the world. I'm just joking but it does feel like it. So this year or term some of the top writers in my class have entered into a writing competition for year 7 & 8. I find that writing lets out all of your emotions, that one of the reasons that I love writing. The competition rules are that you have to write a story about New Zealand, but it can be made up, then you can only write up to 500 to 600 words. If you win 1st place then you get $250.00 and your book copy-write and in a school journal. If you think that you are a great writer then I recommend this writing competition for you. It is called the "Elise Locke writing competition"
