Athletics recount

Athletic's was a great experience. I was most proud of the throwing thing. Not shotput but the other thing. I just forgot what it was called.
I'll go back to the start of the day. So I got out of bed and got changed. I was pumped! I went to school and saw everyone in their house colors.
The first event that I participated in was long jump, and I was alright. The next event was the throwing thing. I came 4th place out of the whole of Hillary girls. Then I  went to sprints which I also came 4th out of my heat. The vortex is too boring to explain but went to shot put then sprints, then finally it was rest time!!!!!!

This is the start of my story

Tuesday 30th October:
On the night everyone dreads, that one innocent girl made the wrong choice of walking to that one house, on that one street, with that one fence, knocking on that one door. Then Suddenly…

The Day before:
“Mum! Mum! Hurry up. I need to go shopping for my halloween costume. I feel like being a black cat, or a scary clown. Maybe I could be the clown from the horror movie IT. OR…”
“Slow down. We can just go to the shop to find a cheap and stress less outfit for you to throw on. But I’m not buying you anything over $25.00. Do you understand honey bun.” Thea’s mum replied.
“Yea okay then. But can I spend more money if I give you my money to pay for.”
“No. Did you not just hear me. I said no more than $25.00. You need to start listening.”
“FINE!” Yelled Thea as she slammed her bedroom door.

Thea was throwing a hissy fit. She was starting to get annoyed with her mother because she was taking to long just to find the right pair of yeezys.

Finally they got to the store but could find nothing that appealed Thea, so they went to target. All of the carparks were taken up because of all the people wanting to find halloween costumes. It took them 7 minutes of circling around the carpark to find a spot. As soon as Thea and her mother stepped foot into target, Thea saw the costume that she really fancied. It was a massive costume that you put over your head. It was the majestic thing ever. It was a UNICORN!!! Thea ran up to the massive costume. She looked at the price, but fell to her knees. The unicorn costume cost $39.99.

Thea got home and flopped onto her leather couch and started to cry. It was 7:30pm and she had no costume for halloween.

The next day Thea got ready for school. She had black rings underneath her eyes, because she had stayed up all night texting people to ask if they had any left over clothes or costumes, but know one did.
